Creative Commons Search: Search several sites including Google & Yahoo.

Flickr Search : Type in the tag you are looking for; brings up tons of thumbnails.

Flickr Storm: Click "advanced" and choose "non-commercial use"

Morgue File: Public image reference archive of stock photography.

FreeFoto: Free pictures organized into categories
